Expert integrates Wero to expand European payment choice
Langenhagen, June 12, 2026 – expert is expanding its digital payment offerings through a partnership with EPI, bringing Wero, its European digital payment solution, to customers. With Wero, customers can pay at expert directly from their familiar banking environment easily, seamlessly, and securely.
The launch of Wero will be accompanied by a nationwide launch campaign running until 21 July 2026, offering customers attractive benefits when they pay with Wero.
European payment solution to complement the payment offering
With Wero, expert adds another digital payment option to its existing payment portfolio. The solution enables consumers to pay directly from their bank account, seamlessly deployed into users’ banking environments, with just a tap to make on their phone to finalize the transaction.
The solution currently has more than 55 million users. Supported by leading 16 European banks and financial institutions which joined forces to establish an independent European payment solution, transactions are secured end-to-end, achieved in less than 10 seconds directly from the consumer’s account to allow for a true frictionless payment experience.
For expert, the main focus is added value for customers though a secure and convenient new payment option that further simplifies the payment process in the expert online shop.
Introductory offer for expert customers
To mark the launch of Wero, customers will benefit from an attractive discount as part of a nationwide launch campaign. Until 31 July 2026, they will receive an instant discount of €10 on purchases of €50 or more when they pay for their order using Wero and enter the promotional code WERO10.
The promotion applies exclusively to payments made via Wero and can’t be combined with other promotions and runs until 31 July 2026 or while stocks last.
